Rejoice Always!

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

God has a plan for our lives. His plan is perfect. It is for good and not evil. We can embrace and accept His will because it comes from our Heavenly Father, who wants to bless us in every area of our lives.

This verse begins with "Rejoice always..." I know that it is easier said than done but God would never ask us to do something if He knew we couldn't do it. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. The word of God says, "The joy of the Lord in my strength." Our source of joy comes from God. It is up to us to make that choice and be joyful no matter what circumstances come our way. His word says "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"

He continues to say "pray without ceasing." That means that we cannot stop communicating with God. Every time we pray, we draw closer and closer to the Lord. Prayer is an invitation for God to intervene in your situation. Prayer dismantles the kingdom of darkness.

​We need to pray for wisdom and guidance. We need to pray for revival. If we only pray when we're in trouble, then you're in trouble! King David said, "Early I will seek thee." This means we have to start our day with prayer. Stay in constant communication with God throughout the day and end the day with prayer.

Finally, "In everything give thanks." This means that in all things, in every circumstance, good or bad, we should always be grateful for all that God has done and going to do in our lives. Paul says, "For I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." When we have an attitude of gratitude before the Lord, we will learn how to be content in every situation. The Bible says, "give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever." Thank you God for your goodness and love!

​God desires for us to be joyful, prayerful, and thankful so that we can enjoy His supernatural peace always.
